DealsonWill is a one-person publication. There's no editorial team, no SEO consultant, no AI ghostwriter. It's the same shortlist of deals and gear that I'd send to my brother, my partner, or a mate who texts me asking "is this any good?".

Two halves to the site:

The deals feed is time-limited. Sales, freebies, the occasional Tesla referral or supermarket markdown. I post it, the community votes, it expires when it expires. If a deal turns out to be bad, downvotes drop it off the front page.

Will's Picks is evergreen. It's the boring opposite of the deals feed: things I've owned for months or years and would buy again. Each pick lists multiple retailers, because price is a moving target and your loyalty is to your wallet, not Amazon.

I'm a software engineer by day and the kind of person who reads three reviews before buying a $14 spatula. If that sounds annoying, I'm sorry. If it sounds useful, you're in the right place.

Why no ads, no popups, no newsletter modals?

Because they all suck. The site makes money the same way every honest blog does — affiliate commissions on the buy buttons. If you click "Buy on Amazon" and check out, I get a small cut. You pay the same. If you don't want to use my link, just google the product. I won't know and I won't be offended.

• Commission Factory — covers most of the AU retailers (JB Hi-Fi, The Iconic, etc.).

I do not accept paid placements, sponsored posts, or "review units" with strings attached. If a brand sends me something free, I'll say so explicitly on the page.
